According to a new study from the University of Georgia, hot weather can take a toll on your mental health.

Researchers looked at mental health data and daily weather information over a 7-year period. They found Americans were more likely to report mental distress on days hotter than 70 degrees. Some respondents said they'd be willing to pay as much as $5 per day to avoid the heat.
